Past locations

The Past locations function of the HolAzAutó mobile application shows the earlier routes of your devices in detail on a hybrid map view complemented with a chart; the query can be parameterised by device, time interval and the data to be examined, and it is also accessible from the device data sheet of the Current locations.

Past locations

In the past locations function you can examine the earlier routes of your devices in detail, together with the data sent. You can do this on a hybrid map view complemented with a chart. You can open the function not only from the dashboard,

Past locations tab on the device data sheet

but also from the device data sheet in the current locations, by tapping the Past locations tab.

Parameters of the query

As a first step, set the parameters of the query. Going from top to bottom you have to set the following:

  • selection of the device (if you navigated here from the current locations, from the device data sheet, this field is filled in automatically by the app)
  • selection of the time interval, which you can also modify with the quick buttons or by setting a custom period
  • selection of the data to be examined (you can query at most two data at the same time; you decide which two)

Parameters of the query

You can select the ports from a drop-down list, by ticking the box of the given port.

Selectable ports

If you opened the past locations from the vehicle data sheet in the current locations, after setting the parameters press the Next button at the bottom of the screen; if you loaded the function from the dashboard, you can also tap the button marked with an arrow in the top right corner of the screen to run the query.

Running the query

The result

After the result loads, in the upper part of the screen you can examine the data sent by the device on a chart, and on the map you can inspect the routes.

Result of the query

You can zoom the chart in and out in two ways:

  • by spreading or pinching two fingers, and
  • by tapping the + button with a one-finger drag. After tapping, the button turns red; then you have to tap the beginning of the section to be examined on the chart, then drag your finger to the end of the section to be examined; the application marks the selected section with a translucent bluish colour. When you lift your finger from the screen, the section selected with the drag is enlarged on the chart.

Chart control buttons

The zooming performed in the chart can also be undone step by step in reverse order by tapping the button marked with an arrow placed to the right of the + button; this always steps back to the state one zoom earlier. You can reset the chart and the map to the default state by tapping the refresh button in the top right corner; in this case the originally queried result is loaded back.

Resetting the enlarged chart

Since the map and the chart behave interactively, the map focuses on the section enlarged on the chart and zooms in on it. The interactivity also works the other way: if you zoom in on a route section on the map and tap the marker placed on the section, the selected point is marked on the curve and zooms in.

Point selected on the chart

The information belonging to the selected point appears in the area below the map section.

You can switch the visibility of the curves on and off by tapping the colour code explanation below the chart.

When you zoom in on a given route section on the map, depending on the zoom level, the markers indicating the data sending points appear on the route section. With the button in the top right corner of the map you can switch the display of these markers on the map on and off.
